He was nominated for seven <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Primetime_Emmy_Award_for_Outstanding_Supporting_Actor_in_a_Comedy_Series\">Primetime Emmy Awards<\/a> and three <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Golden_Globe_Award_for_Best_Supporting_Actor_%E2%80%93_Series,_Miniseries_or_Television_Film\">Golden Globe Awards<\/a>. He won a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tony_Award\">Tony Award<\/a>. And he\u2019s a truly inspiring, fascinating and entertaining man.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0He\u2019s defined American culture and entertainment for decades. And, all the while, he\u2019s been deeply committed to his craft&#8212;to his family&#8212;and to his country. He\u2019s raised money for charities. He\u2019s fought for causes and candidates. And when his sister was struck with a devastating disease, he fought for her&#8211;and for others like her facing the same terrible disease.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0If you\u2019ve watched him, you love him.
